Social Media



The above video is titled "Social Media Revolution 2". The video was created by the authors of the book titled "Socialnomics". I use this video in my behavioral science class when talking about social media in the sociology unit. I think it is so important for students to understand the impact of the internet and social media on our society as a whole. It is quite amazing to watch the students' reactions as they watch the video. I think at times the information can be quite an eye-opener for them.

    Excellent video. It truly illustrates both the power and the shift in communication with social media. We as educators need to meet people where they are.

    I thought this was great! I learned a ton and couldn't believe some of those statistics. I must be getting old though because I had to stop and rewind so I could read everything :)
